This pair of armchairs made in Czechoslovakia, shows us the combination of form and function in perfect harmony. Originally designed in 1900, the Thonet-inspired design of this armchair was favored by many famous architects and designers, including Le Corbusier, who admired its elegant simplicity and ergonomic comfort. This particular example has an attribution label, making it a valuable collector’s piece with historical significance. In good original condition, the chair has signs of wear and tear. They came to us from Amsterdam, from a person who understands object design well and knows the value of such objects.
