‍СHARITY ONLINE AUCTION 2.0

The aim of the first online charity auction organised by SCHEBENTWOOD was to raise funds for the rehabilitation of soldier Oleksandr Latkіvskyi through the sale of seven iconic chairs from the Vienna Secession period.

Thanks to this auction, we managed to raise 325,000 UAH by selling seven items, specifically two pairs of chairs from the Jacob & Josef Kohn factory (model nr. 14 and nr. 380), one pair of chairs from the Thonet factory (model nr. 47) and one chair from the Ungvar furniture factory in Uzhhorod (Uzhhorod Furniture and Veneer Factory A. Sp.)

These items are of great collectable, historical and cultural value, which is significant in the context of the modern world and Ukraine’s situation as a whole. SCHEBENTWOOD is dedicated to sourcing, preserving, identifying, collecting and selling bentwood items from the Vienna Secession period. This is about approaching furniture as bearers of history and witnesses to the formation of culture, and everything worth preserving, and everything worth dreaming of.

In the future, we plan to continue holding charity auctions to support and assist servicemen and women in need. By supporting our initiatives, you are helping these individuals to recover and improve their quality of life, whilst also becoming the owners of unique and highly valuable collectables. This event was organised in collaboration with the "Vidnovlennja Dobrobyty" Foundation, which organises and funds projects for the rehabilitation of military personnel and children. All funds raised were donated to this foundation
